The first LNG tractor unit for LKW WALTER

We are proud to announce a further development in the ecological sustainability of road transport. Together with our subsidiary company WALTER LEASING, the first HGV tractor unit powered by LNG (Liquefied Natural Gas) has been put into operation.

Tractor units with LNG significantly reduce emissions of air pollutants (e.g. nitrogen oxides or particulates) compared to conventional Eurodiesel. We hope for a positive long-term impact for our environment. Initially, LKW WALTER will be operating the tractor unit on the route between the Czech Republic and Austria.
